బ్రతుకంతా మోసావు బాధలను
ఇన్ని మోసిన నిన్ను
మోసేవాళ్ళు లేక వెళుతున్నావు
ఈ జీవన తరంగాలలో
ఆ దేవుని చదరంగంలో
ఎవరికీ ఎవరు సొంతము
ఎంత వరకు ఈ బంధము
కడుపు చించుకు పుట్టిందొకరు
కాటికి నిన్ను మోసేదొకరు
తలకు కొరివి పెట్టేదొకరు
ఆపై నీతో వచ్చేదెవరు (2)
ఈ జీవన తరంగాలతో
ఆ దేవుని చదరంగంలో
ఎవరికీ ఎవరు సొంతము
ఎంత వరకు ఈ బంధము
మమతే మనిషికి బందీఖానా
భయపడి తెంచుకు పారిపోయినా
తెలియని పాశం వెంటబడి
ఋణం తీర్చుకోమంటుంది

నీ భుజం మార్చుకోమంటుంది

తాళి కట్టిన మగడు లేడని
తరలించుకు పోయే మృత్యువాగాదు
ఈ కట్టెను కట్టెలు కాల్చక మానవు
ఆ కన్నీళ్లకు చితి మంటలరావు
ఈ మంటలు ఆ గుండెను అంతక మానవు
ఈ జీవన తరంగాలతో
ఆ దేవుని చదరంగంలో
ఎవరికీ ఎవరు సొంతము
